Pouring honey into a large glass jar with all chopped ingerdients

Fire cider is a powerful, immune-boosting tonic that has been used in traditional herbal remedies for centuries. Made by infusing apple cider vinegar with potent ingredients like garlic, ginger, horseradish, and hot peppers, fire cider is known for its ability to support the overall immune function. With a fiery kick and warming properties, this natural remedy is perfect for colder months when your body needs extra support to stay healthy.

One of the primary health benefits of fire cider is its ability to promote digestion and gut health. The combination of spicy and tangy ingredients helps stimulate digestive enzymes, making it easier for your body to break down food and absorb nutrients. Apple cider vinegar, a key component, is also rich in probiotics that help maintain a healthy gut microbiome, which is crucial for everything from immune function to mood regulation.

In addition to boosting digestion, fire cider is loaded with antioxidants, helping to fight free radicals in the body. By incorporating fire cider into your daily routine, you can give your body a powerful dose of protective nutrients to keep your immune system strong.

This recipe is super easy to make and only take a few minutes of prep plus a few weeks to allow to apple cider vinegar to absorb all the nutrients from the garlic, ginger and horseradish.

To start, chop one whole onion, approximately one-half cup of rough chopped ginger and horseradish, one bulb of garlic, and one whole lemon. Add everything to a glass jar. Add spices, black peppercorns and cayenne pepper.

Add one cup of honey and then fill the rest of the jar with apple cider vinegar. Shake a few times and allow the honey to mostly dissolve.

Seal and place into a cabinet for 2-4 weeks before using. Side note, vinegar will corrode a metal lid so try to use a plastic or glass lid if possible.
