Share
Everybody loves a classic chocolate chip cookie, but this version takes the timeless treat and gives it a nourishing, plant-based twist. Instead of relying on refined flours and sugars, these cookies are crafted with almond flour, pure maple syrup, and wholesome ingredients that feel as good as they taste. They’re gluten-free, refined sugar-free, and vegan. Made for those who want the indulgence of a cookie with the grounding simplicity of whole, natural foods.

Just Simple & Wholesome Ingredients
Almond flour lends a nutty richness while also being rich in protein, fibre, and minerals. Maple syrup brings a gentle sweetness with a touch of earthiness, keeping the recipe free of refined sugars and closer to nature’s pantry. To deepen the nutrition, shredded coconut and ground flax are worked into the dough, coconut offering a delicate texture and healthy fats, and flax, rich in plant compounds and fiber. It’s a blend that feels both decadent and restorative, like a treat your body recognizes and welcomes.
Easy Almond Flour Cookie Recipe
These cookies are super easy to make, and they come together in only a couple of minutes. You don’t need special equipment or complicated steps, just a bowl, a spoon, and a handful of ingredients that naturally come together. Once baked, the cookies are golden at the edges and soft in the center.
How to Make Perfect Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookies
Preheat Your Oven: To start, preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
Mix Dry Ingredients: After that, in a large mixing bowl, combine almond flour, baking powder, ground flax and salt. Stir that all together with a fork. Make sure everything is combined.
Then add in shredded coconut and chocolate chips, again stirring that all together until completely combined.
Mix in Wet Ingredients: Now add in the liquids, which are coconut oil and maple syrup. After those are fully combined with your dry ingredients, you have a dough!
Form Little Balls: Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and roll the dough into little balls.
Note: Because of the ingredients, these cookies have a little less structure than a regular chocolate chip cookie, so make sure to keep them on the somewhat smaller side, which will help them keep their shape!
Top With More Chocolate Chips: Once I had all my cookie dough balls evenly spaced on the cookie sheet, I topped them each with a few extra chocolate chips, which makes them look really pretty when they come out, and makes sure there’s chocolate in every bite!
Bake: Set these in the oven and allow them to bake for about 15 minutes, until slightly browned on the edges. Once they hit that point, take them out of the oven and allow them to cool for about 15 minutes before serving.
