There’s something undeniably satisfying about the combination of dark chocolate, tart cherries, and creamy coconut yogurt. Not only do these frozen chocolate-covered cherry and coconut yogurt clusters make for a decadent treat, but they’re also packed with nutrients that support overall well-being. Whether you’re looking for a healthy dessert or a late-night snack, this easy-to-make recipe delivers a perfect balance of indulgence and nourishment. Plus, with just a few wholesome ingredients, you can enjoy a sweet, refreshing bite without any guilt.

One of the star ingredients in this recipe is cherries, which offer an array of health benefits beyond their juicy, sweet flavor. Cherries are rich in antioxidants, particularly anthocyanins, which help reduce inflammation and support heart health.
They are also a natural source of melatonin, the hormone responsible for regulating sleep. Consuming cherries or cherry-based treats in the evening may help improve sleep quality and duration, making these frozen clusters a delicious and functional bedtime snack.

Pairing cherries with dark chocolate enhances the health benefits even further. Dark chocolate is loaded with flavonoids, which contribute to improved brain function and heart health. Meanwhile, coconut yogurt provides probiotics that support gut health and digestion. Together, these ingredients create a nutritious, satisfying snack that satisfies cravings while delivering essential nutrients.
To start, chop frozen cherries into small pieces. Mix those together with coconut yogurt and honey. You can add more flavors like vanilla, other fruits or cinnamon, but I decided to keep it simple.

Once that is thoroughly mixed, add spoonfuls of the mixture onto a lined baking sheet, into small circles. Add that tray to the freezer and allow it to set for a few hours or overnight.

Once you have made sure the yogurt clusters are frozen, start to melt your chocolate over a double boiler. Once the chocolate has mostly melted, add in coconut oil to make the chocolate easier to work with.

Dip the bottom of each frozen cherry cluster in the melted chocolate and then drizzle more chocolate over the top.
Add the chocolate and cherry clusters back to the freezer until the chocolate has set. This will only take about 5 minutes.

When you are ready to enjoy, take one out of the freezer and enjoy the satisfying crunch of the cold chocolate. Store these in the freezer and enjoy throughout the week!
